چکیده

Methods A group of 37 post-infarction patients with ventricular tachycardia (VT), who underwent both MRI and a VT catheter ablation procedure with electro-anatomical voltage mapping (EAVM), were included. LGE imaging was performed using a 3D breath-hold inversion recovery turbo-field echo sequence with full ventricular coverage in three views: short-axis (SA), two-chamber, and fourchamber. The three LGE sequences were combined as follows: 1) The inter-scan heart motion was compensated by a joint localized gradient-correlation-based volume registration scheme; 2) The registered volumes were combined into an isotropic volume by the superresolution reconstruction (SRR) technique. The SRR reconstructed volumes were compared to conventional

High-resolution late gadolinium enhancement imaging with compressed sensing: a single-center clinical study

Background Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) MRI is the clinical standard for imaging of scar in the left ventricle (LV). It has also been employed for assessing RF ablations in the left atrium (LA). LV LGE imaging is typically performed in 2D. When 3D is utilized, spatial resolution is limited due to prolonged scan time. We have shown that an accelerated imaging technique called LOST with rand...

Lorentzian Norm based Super-resolution Reconstruction of Brain MRI Image

Nowadays, SRR (super resolution image reconstruction) technology is a very effective method in improving spatial resolution of images and obtaining high-definition images. The SRR approach is an image late processing method that does not require any improvement in the hardware of the imaging system. In the SRR reconstruction model, it is the key point of the research to choose a proper cost fun...

3D Gd-Enhanced Carotid MRA with High Spatial and Temporal Resolution: An Application of a New Class of K-space Sampling Theorems

Introduction: In principle, gadolinium-enhanced carotid MRA has well-documented advantages over methods based on time-offlight contrast. Unfortunately, conventional Fourier imaging methods fail to achieve adequate spatial resolution because data acquisition is limited to the brief first pass of contrast material. However, the conventional Fourier sampling theorem does not exploit the strong pri...

Microstructural remodeling in the post-infarct porcine heart measured by diffusion tensor MRI and T1-weighted late gadolinium enhancement MRI

The objective of this study was to quantify microstructural remodeling in peri-infarcted and infarcted porcine myocardium using diffusion tensor MRI (DT-MRI) for the first time. High resolution ex vivo late gadolinium enhanced (LGE) MRI was used to segment the DT-MRI data into normal, peri-infarct and infarcted myocardium. LGE-MRI based segmentation produces regions with significantly different...
